Anxiety symptoms vary from one person to another. We all have felt anxious at one point of our life and it is not a new feeling to us. However, when this common feeling becomes a behavior then it is a sign of warning to us. The degree of these symptoms varies from one person to another. I have classified these into five different categories based on the part of the body that gets affected.

Body in general- A person with this disorder suffers from skin allergy, back pain, tremors, variations in body temperature, chest pain, choking, fatigue, craving for sugar, difficulty in communication, dizziness, fever, increased heartbeat, changes in sexual behavior, muscle twitching, problems in urinating, changes in body weight, tingling sensations in hands, feet, legs, arms, head, mouth, chest, groin area, body pain, lethargy, weak legs, arms and muscles, and head aches.

Chest- In certain people, anxiety symptoms include chest pain, concern about the heart, forceful breathing, frequent yawning, increased heart beat, and rib to ribcage tightness.

Ears- Other signs include reduced hearing, frequent or intermittent reduced hearing or hearing impairment, low rumbling sound, ringing sound and noises in the ears.

Head- Here you will feel burning, itchy, tight scalp, dizziness, frequent headaches, tremors, numbness, shooting pain in the head or scalp. When your eyes are closed, you will get a feeling of floating upwards.

Skin- Some common things that you will observe in a person suffering from this disorder is a burning skin sensation, numbness and numbness tingling.

Psychological/Mental health- The most common anxiety symptom is phobia of social gatherings, fear of being trapped in a place with no exits, and feeling of being overwhelmed. Certain other fears include death, losing control, and impending doom, losing your mind, making mistakes or being scared of irrational things, objects, circumstances, or situations. Besides all these fears, such people are afraid of everything they see, have altered state of reality, consciousness, or universe feeling, Deja vu, depersonalization, de-realization, desensitization.

They also find it difficult to concentrate and suffer from short term amnesia, problems in thinking, speaking, forming thoughts and following conversations. They often feel disoriented and feel obsessed about sensations and get night mares. Such individuals are also short tempered and lack patience. They often get depressed, experience mood swings, develop wrong emotions, day dream, often cry for no reason and feel detached from loved ones and feel under pressure all the time.

Miscellaneous- Some of the other signs which are not covered above include hypochondria, muscle twinges, worrying all the time, tightness in the chest, tongue twitches, shaky, breath lump, heart beat problems, head tingles, and itchy tingling in arms and legs. Such people keep worrying about heart attack, serious undetected illness, dying prematurely, losing their mind, suddenly snapping, and harming one self or loved ones, embarrassment, fainting in public, losing control of reality, loneliness and choking.

All the above may not be seen in all people and these may appear in combinations. So watch out for the anxiety symptoms if you think you are prone to this disorder, and then take effective measures to cure yourself.
